I am the valuer at one of the leading Estate Agents in Hexham, who are one of the largest independent estate agents in the North East of England. Prior to this I was a Primary School teacher, and also had my own business as an International Education Consultant. Former councillor on Allendale Parish Council and was actively involved in the campaign to try to save our local Middle School. I was in regular contact with a number of journalists at both the Hexham Courant and Newcastle Journal, who have given the campaign very positive coverage.Recently retired as a qualified football referee. I played cricket for the Allendale 2nd XI and I have coached the Junior teams. I am Welfare Officer of Allendale Football Club, Allendale Sports Club and the Tynedale Junior League. I am a qualified FA Level 1 Coach. The Sports Club completed a project to build a clubhouse and changing facilities, and raised funds to the tune of £345,000. I organised football tournaments for teams across the North East that have been fund raising events for the Football Club. Prior to moving away from Rickmansworth I was involved as a Cub Leader and an athletics coach with Watford Harriers. When my children were at school I was on the PTA organising fund raising events for the PTA, including quiz nights, Summer Fayres, Raffles.I am relatively computer literate, and experienced in using Microsoft Office as well as a number of specialist computer programs designed for estate agents. With UKSchools4U I also had a website, which I updated regularly. Whilst working for Steven Ford I updated his website, Facebook page and tweets as well as producing weekly newsletters and press releases. I produced press releases for the local press for our campaign to save Allendale Middle School.I enjoy cooking, but unfortunately I eat whilst I cook, which is not good for my waistline!
