About Marc Ikegami

In my working career, I have been fortunate to work with high-performing teams that deliver exceptional customer service. My focus on employee satisfaction has enabled me to build teams that deliver excellent customer service and outstanding sales performance.Owning my own business for 13 years was a fantastic experience. It allowed me to explore all the "what if I owned the business" ideas while using every ounce of the training I gained while working for Lithia. They say that the school of hard knocks provides the best education. Buying a business losing over one million dollars a year gave me a much greater appreciation for the importance of cash flow, strong processes, the value of great employees, and outstanding communication. 80-hour work weeks and building a great team paid off. Being profitable every year we were in business allowed us to help those in need. Partnering with organizations like HopeLink, Turning Point, the Dale Turner YMCA, and NW Hospital, we were able to help thousands in need. As my twins approached high school age, I decided to take a step back, reassess my priorities, and seek a more balanced life. As I continued to learn, I realized that having a balanced life does not mean giving up success; instead, having a balanced life is the key to success. Outside of my professional life, my family is my top priority. My second job is supporting my twins in their numerous soccer practices, games, and tournaments. We also cherish our time together skiing, enjoying water activities, and socializing with friends and family.I am looking for new opportunities where I can make a difference. Feel free to connect via LinkedIn or contact me directly at benakidad@gmail.com.My professional competencies include expertise in Peoplesoft, SAP Concur, CDK, vAuto, VIN Solutions, Excel, GM Global Connect, and MVMS marina management. These skills have been honed through my extensive experience and have proven instrumental in my past successes.
