I am currently a surgical nocturnist at White Plains Hospital. In this role I provide evidence based, timely, cost effective, compassionate care across multiple surgical subspecialties. I take immense pride in my work and continually focus on quality, safety, and patient outcomes. As I approach ten years of clinical practice as a Physician Assistant, I have garnered a broad knowledge base. I am an enthusiastic, eager, collaborative provider who continues to learn and adapt in this ever-changing healthcare landscape. I have strong interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, and I am a leader inside the hospital. I have shown clinical excellence in multiple specialties including general, colorectal, vascular, thoracic, urology, and orthopedic surgery. I have experience as a first assistant in the operating room, managing inpatient censuses and providing consultation services. I also have had the pleasure of working as an internal medicine Physician Assistant in a per diem role as well as time spent as an outpatient urology provider. Collectively these roles have made me an asset to health systems and to our patients. This well-rounded experience has been fulfilling, challenging and continues to propel me forward. I have become the first Physician Assistant in my hospital to obtain my level three clinical ladder competency. I am also currently working on obtaining a master's in business administration with a healthcare focus. In the future I hope to transition and leverage my clinical acumen to a role within healthcare administration.
