I performed a variety of senior level engineering tasks involving system design, risk reduction, implementation and integration, including personnel, hardware, software and support facilities and/or equipment. This tasking required extensive technical knowledge using Java, Pearl, Oracle, and other scripting languages. Responsibilities included evaluating "front-end" GUI packages such as Bxpro, VisualCafe, and, JBuilder. This tasking also involved developing processing routines, in a variety of application languages.

Responsibilities included leading a systems engineering team in the re-design of a real¬time signal processing system. This tasking involved coordinating activities to acquire a technology resource from various government organizations within the Department of Defense. Scheduled meetings, prepared agendas, defined requirements, evaluated proposals for technical competency, performed as lead software engineer for software acquisitions, and managed a diverse engineering team. Responsibilities included analyzing customer requirements in order to develop a Graphical User Interface (GUI) that connects to an Oracle message handling system. This development required designing new GUIs to increase user productivity. Conversion of old GUI systems written in GAIN to MOTIF was required.; my responsibilities included analyzing software requirements using Object Oriented Analysis & Design methodologies, Object Modeling using Object Modeling Tool and defining class tables using StP in preparation for a C++ development effort.

Responsibilities included the analysis of software requirements, development of algorithms, software design, porting code from IBM Mainframes to Sun/Unix platforms, software development using C, problem resolution, and software testing. I represented our software development team at the weekly program development meeting. Assisted in the development of a Time Expense Management System for General Electric, which was developed to help employee's charge and document their companies travel expenses accurately.
