Developed, with Dr. Goodman, two other product lines that are based on SLMS™ technology: LASIT™ (Lightweight Athermal SLMS Innovative Telescopes) and CHORD™ (Communication Hybrid Optical RF Dish). CHORD™ (Communication Hybrid Optical RF Dish). Provided senior level technical support to LWOS team and establishes partnering relations with optics systems houses and vendors for lightweight optical materials and instruments to manufacture products such as telescopes, imagers, fast steering mirrors and optics for high-energy lasers. Responsible for writing all component and system requirements and verification procedures for LWOS programs. Identified government and commercial opportunities and procurements for LWOS technologies and establishes technology advocates within these organizations. Contributed technically in the proposal-writing efforts for these opportunities and procurements. Responsible for creating and maintaining the BDE risks on the risk management database, presentations of BDE risk status to the BDE IPT and IFX program management, and lead planner for the optical test bed and coating risk reduction tasks as the BDE representative and focal point for the IFX risk management working group. Made significant technical contributions in the optical areas of High Energy Laser (HEL) beam enclosed energy diameter, Low Energy Laser (LEL) geometric footprint, jitter and wavefront, alignment laser boresight to the HEL, alignment laser wavefront, Inertial Reference Unit (IRU), BDE translation sensor and BCE calibration wavefront sensor requirements for the BDE-BDE interface working group. Also, analyzed the effects of the divergence, rotation and static tilt of the HEL at the Laser Power Element (LPE)-BCE interface that drove the BDE-BCE requirements for clipper dimensions and telescope magnification. Responsible for creating and maintaining the error trees.
