I'm Marc, an Industrial Designer based in Germany.With an academic background in Integrated Design from the Köln International School of Design (TH Köln) and further specialization in Industrial Design at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (香港理工大學), my expertise spans interdisciplinary fields including product development, process optimization, and mechanical engineering. This diverse foundation supports my multifaceted approach to design.My career journey includes roles such as Industrial Designer, Interaction Designer, and Art Director. I excel at integrating design thinking, programming, engineering, and hands-on skills like rapid prototyping to craft innovative and user-centric solutions.I've collaborated with multidisciplinary teams, mentored design students at the university, co-founded a design collective in Hong Kong, and worked across Shanghai and Taipei. These experiences have enriched my approach to concept development and honed my ability to manage intercultural projects effectively.As Head of Industrial Design for conservation programs, I led the design of breeding box systems for biological centers, contributed to large-scale architectural projects, and partnered with government agencies on conservation efforts to protect endangered species.At undefault, I am part of a dedicated team developing groundbreaking, user-focused products at the intersection of technology and consumer hardware.Outside of work, I enjoy quality time with my beloved dog Bill, exploring sound engineering, fine-tuning my synthesizers, and staying active at the boxing club.
