About Marc Larkin
I have a long and strong background in road and to a lesser degree, aeromedical, advanced life support and rescue operations. Road operations produced a disciplined, confident person who is happy to take on challenges. I studied LLB while working as a paramedic, completed this, then followed my interests into a Masters in Medical Law where my dissertation focussed on the crime of torture in South Africa. I am a practicing Legal Practitioner (Attorney) and run my own practice. I have a keen interest in civil law and especially that involving the protection of vulnerable persons, as well as the rapidly developing field of appropriate dispute resolution. I'm physically active, healthy and great at dealing with all personalities. I am a confident public speaker and have experience in this. I have lecturing experience at tertiary level in both the private and state sectors.
