32 year veteran of Springfield Fire Division, last 14 serving as a Battalion Chief managing a medium size City Fire Department with 130 employees, 7 engine companies, 3 ladder companies, 8 medic units, a heavy rescue company. The Department operated on a $12 million dollar annual budget and made 17-18 thousand runs per year. While involved in this career I also ran a home building and general contracting business which led to owning an overhead door company and concrete company specializing in site development, decorative concrete, all aspects of door work and agricultural building and design. This business was recently sold to my younger partner and I remain as a salesman, assisting with scheduling and project development and management.My family and I also own and operate Royal Creek Farm, LLC., a 60 acre horse farm in southeastern Clark County.
