• Realized a complete rewrite of the DB-driven file transfer and monitoring service (C#, PL/SQL)
• This involved frequent meetings to agree on analysis topics and test results
• Technical investigations were also required to determine the right options to handle the various transfer types, as well as the adequate multi-threaded approach for the service to be highly adaptable to the load
• Reported the service vitals (queue sizes, memory used,..) through a web service (WCF)
• Requested administration access on all the servers, taking care of the setup, deployments and troubleshooting
• Provided fresh data to the DEV environment by implementing a filesystem hook service to replicate the file activity on the production shared folders (C#)
