• This was a collaborative project between the University of Limerick and the City University of New York. The project involved the design, fabrication and characterisation of a hybrid superhydrophobic-hydrophilic surface.
• The surface exhibited stable dropwise condensation and was also characterised thermally.
• The project involved elements of engineering, thermodynamics, surface chemistry and material sciences.
• The worked resulted in a publication in ACS Applied Materials and Interfaces.

• Key contributor to a multi-disciplinary team that designed, developed and delivered the Stokes Bio Ltd. microfluidic genotyper platform from the prototype phase to manufacture.
• The design and development of the Stokes Bio Ltd. microfluidic qPCR prototype, including: the pumping, thermal cycling and optical detection systems.
