Teaching, Genetic-Mitochondria-Metabolism
I received the Teaching fellowship from the `` French Ministry of National Education, Research, and Technology``(MRT). I teached in the field of Cellular and Molecular biology at the university for 180 hours during 2009-2012.
Phd, Mitochondria-Metabolism
I received a merit grant from the `` French Ministry of National Education, Research, and Technology``(MRT).Thesis Title: Contribution to the study of the mitochondrial morphogenesis.Summary: Organelles also show spatial and temporal coordination of morphogenesis. We discovered a novel determinant of mitochondrial morphology. In addition, progress in video-microscopy enables us to record mitochondrial dynamics in the cytoplasm of living cells. I developed experimental tools and protocols to visualize and study the mitochondrial dynamics in living embryos. From this work, two papers were published. The first paper was published at EMBO Reports in 2011. The second paper was published at Journal of Cell Science in 2013.Approaches: - Electronic microscopy - Classical Confocal microscopy- Spinning disk confocal microscopy (in vivo, on living embryos)- Fine dissection and immunochemistry
Master In Life Science-Cellular Biology
Summary: Cell behaviours are tightly coordinated. They both spatially and temporally integrate at the tissue level and drive embryonic morphogenesis. During my master studies, I worked on ascidian embryos; I gathered image stacks from live or fixed embryos by using two-photon microscopy. These were digitalized and segmented to produce 3D embryo replicas. The aim of this research project was to quantify and track of the dynamics of cell behaviours during embryonic development.Approaches:- Software for embryo modelling- Two-photon microscopy (in vivo, on living embryos)Model: Ascidians
