I was the sole lead for Internal Communications and Engagement across a multi-site organisation of almost 5000 staff, with a particular focus on driving change. Working for a County Council meant dealing with a vast array of services, people and priorities, from schools to social care, health to highways. CHANGE COMMUNICATIONS: - Creating and delivering to a cross-Council Communication Strategy, with a strong focus on staff advocacy and visibility of senior management. - Leading behaviour change for some of the County Council's largest and most complex change programmes - seeing a tangible shift in staff behaviour and attitude. - Generating and leading on measurable communications campaigns to match our corporate objectives. - Driving staff engagement by delivering numerous staff focus groups and training sessions. - Stakeholder engagement and building meaningful relationships with people across the board, from Politicans to frontline workers. - Channel development and digital solutions, such as the full re-purposing and rebuilding of our staff intranet.
