Experienced Ambulance instructor and clinical educator in a hospital setting, now self employed and delivering Health & Social Care and Workplace Health & Safety Training Nationally. In my last role I was the manual handling trainer and advisor for Lancashire Teaching Hospitals Foundation Trust. Responsible for writing, monitoring and delivering of all manual handling and specialist training, involving Manual handling, for clinical and non-clinical roles in a busy hospital setting. Previously I was a training instructor and supervisor for a privately run Ambulance service. Prior to that I was a Clinical Practice Trainer for North West Ambulance service. I have had over ten years working in health care & the NHS. I have delivered training in different environments & to different audiences (these included ambulance staff, doctors, nurses, police force special units & non-medical personnel). I am qualified & experienced in leadership and management, but remain in training as I take satisfaction in helping educate others.
