Worked as a 1st/2nd engineer on modern DP offshore construction vessel involved in the installation and commissioning of subsea equipment. I was highly involved in the maintenance and problem solving on all deck equipment and engine equipment.

Ensuring all machinery is in a safe andefficient operating condition.

• Responsible for the maintenance and repair on the fuel and lubrication purification plant;• The maintenance of all pumps (centrifugal and positive displacement pumps). Responsible for the bunkering of Fuel oil, diesel and lubrication oils. Responsible for the daily transfer of fuel oil;• Testing and maintaining the boiler and cooling water in use. • Responsible for the maintenance, repair and fault finding on medium speed diesel engines as prime movers for generator sets;• The common Medium speed diesel engines on most the container vessels I worked on were either MAN/B&W or Wartsila engines;• Responsible for the fresh water generator system • Assisting the second engineer during large main engine maintenance.
