They were always conscious of different students’ learning styles and levels, which helped them adapt to each class. Learning from them not only helped me with the subject that was taught but also helped me develop myself as a teacher. I often reflect on what these professionals used to do to motivate students to pursue their search for knowledge. While doing my MA in Applied Linguistics, I came across a quote from Noam Chomsky that states: “The truth of the matter is that about 99% of teaching is making the students feel interested in the material. Then the other 1% has to do with your methods”.Be strong in who you are! Know your strengths. Excel in what you can do. Improve by 1%. Trust your team to do their jobs; they trust you to do yours! Most importantly, ENJOY DOING IT!
