During my time at Okta as a Sr. Solutions Engineer my role included customer white boarding sessions, assisting with call discovery, I performed tailored demonstrations and conducting proof-of-values. Early on I covered both SLED and Commercial segments but eventually migrated to Commercial where some of my other key contributions and accomplishments included:- Assisting in the enablement of other SEs in complex use cases or architecting solutions. - Assisting with Enablement materials ranging from documenting legacy on-prem integrations, Okta Workflows and Okta Identity Governance - Producing various Okta Workflow templates and flows the advance to sale of Okta Workflows and Okta Identity Governance. These also included elaborate on-boarding and off-boarding flows, Entitlement Management flows as well as a few security focused flows. - Producing customer follow up brief materials for various platforms including Okta Lifecycle Management, Okta Workflows and Okta Identity Governance along with Strong Risked Based Adaptive Authentication with Okta. - Author of Okta Workflow Templates whereas I produced flow pack content and draft implementation for some Okta Workflow Templates- Assisted with providing materials for, as well as assisting in, various Workflows and Okta Workforce Identity Cloud Tech Camps, Dev Labs. - Performing the role of an Okta Device Access SME (Subject Matter Expert)- Performing the role early on as an Okta Workflows SME- Most recently performing the role of an Okta Identity Governance SME- Assisting with other organizational roles such as CSMs and Support in brain storming solutions using Okta Workflows, etc. as well as standard integration assistance.

During my time at SecureAuth I was a Solutions Engineer where I used my skills at White Boarding sessions, call discovery, tailored demonstrations and conducting poof-of-values. My role also included assisting at producing how to videos as well as tailored documentation. I was out there with customers selling the identity risk based adaptive authentication message.

• In the role of Identity Architect, Project Lead I saw through the successful completion of several phases of key enhancements of the Sun Identity Management implementation. I was a key contributor in capturing and documenting requirements for each of the enhancement segments that were released. • In the role of Identity Manager Training Instructor, I created and delivered end user training sessions for the end user community at Discover on key enhancements being rolled out in the Identity Manager implementation. • In the role of Project Manager, I saw through the successful implementation of several Identity Manager enhancements delivered at Discover including designing a solid user acceptance plan and documentation to ensure the quality of each enhancement phase delivered. This role also included scheduling and delivery of releases though the change and release management processes which included the creation of detailed implementation plans as well as software configuration management. • In the role of access management implementation specialist, I worked with various business units to capture the requirements needed for enabling single sign on for the applications in that business unit. Once the requirements were captured, I then worked with the corresponding application vendors to configure the applications in CA Site Minder to enable SAML federated single sign on functionality. • In the role of systems support, I fielded support issues around Identity Management and federated based single sign on. Once the issue was determined I worked to identify the root cause of the issue, resolve the issue directly or worked with the development staff for the effected product to resolve issues that we determined to be bugs. Additionally I created detailed “how to” quick guides as well as fielded questions in Q&A forums for issues where it was a matter of additional information / training that was needed.
