In Sep 2015, he joined Qonsilus as CTO, leading the R&D and the IT infrastructure department. He is responsible for the maintenance and further development of the Qonsilus Platform, a patented medical decision support platform. He is dedicated to ensuring the successful deployment of all Qonsilus products. To ensure the scalability and future-proofness of the technology, he improves the structuring and the standardization of the R&D business, including a new probabilistic approach for the Qonsilus Knowledge Modelling Process.Prior to joining Qonsilus, he worked as head of development worldwide for CompuGroup Medical (CGM), one of the leading eHealth companies in the world, and held multiple leadership positions at CGM subsidiaries. During this time, he was responsible for the R&D of various international web-based information systems for dentists and doctors (e.g. in Germany, Turkey and Poland) and for the development and implementation of an international online communication platform as well as for a medical eLearning platform. During this time he was setting up a new R&D department for a next software generation leading more than 50 employees and headed the technical due diligence during several acquisitions.Before CompuGroup Medical, Marc-Oliver was software developer in the automation technology department at the AEG in Seligenstadt.
