Client base: I oversee, over 25 client relationships since 2004. I maintain the daily business relationship with European banks, CCPs, insurance companies, asset managers, foundations, principal traders and pension funds. Product rangeGlobal custody, securities borrowing and lending, collateral management, interest rate swap clearing, credit lines, tax reclaim, proxy voting, global equities and derivatives clearing, market access, FX Clearing and central clearing of bilateral trades. Annual targetsAccountable for client profitability (financial target), client satisfaction (measured nett promoter score), cross selling and personal development (skills and knowledge). OnboardingResponsible for all aspects of client onboarding; e.g. RFPs, compliance, KYC documentation, legal agreements and SLAs, coordination with respective product directors and delivery managers, transition management and account setup. Relationship ManagementSingle point of contact for commercial matters, issue escalation, claim/complaint handling and client file maintenance. I maintain an extensive internal and external network and I’m familiar with industry events like SIBOS. I keep myself informed on the evolution of industry trends (T2S, T+2, Interoperability, EMIR, Dodd Frank, FATCA, Basel 3) and translate this to what it means for my client base. I take initiative to send client news flashes or inform individual relationships on what market developments can mean for their business. I keep track of client revenue and make sure invoicing is correct. The operational aspect of the job is executed in an account team, headed by me. I delegate the daily operational monitoring to my account team. In collaboration with my team we conduct periodic client service review visits and we produce monthly tailor made client KPI reports that show the performance on the quality of service.
