About Marc Paley
I am an LCSW licensed in New Mexico who just concluded working in the capacity as a hospice social worker for a medical staffing company to try out a new practice area (Nov., 2024). Previously I worked as a school social worker with Cooperative Education Services (2019 - 2024). I also have expertise in program management from working with marginalized communities from more than seven years of experience in non-profit program management, community engagement, advocacy and outreach that has concentrated in serving the LGBTQ+ and interfaith communities. During graduate school (2017-2019), I expanded my focus to immigrant rights, end of life care, and an internship with the New Mexico Center On Law & Poverty and Native American & Policy Institute that provided exposure to advocacy work concerning Indian child welfare and tribal sovereignty (2019).I look forward to applying a social work lens towards direct client/patient services and capacity building projects and serving client populations that have the power to transform lives for those facing economic, cultural, and psychosocial barriers to their success. I am open to growing into a greater supervisory role and have experience supervising interns and many volunteers. I also bring a well developed community network here in the Albuquerque metro area, Santa Fe, and Tucson, Arizona.
