Always open to new opportunities, while finishing my Neuroscience & Biology combined Honours thesis at Carleton University. Feel free to send me a message if you want to connect!Currently seeking a sponsor to help me finance veterinary school as tuition prices have been slowly but surely increasing. Competition for local Canadian veterinary schools is fierce as seats are scarce and are the only affordable option for Canadian students. Those who are forced to look abroad for schooling are left at their wits end to find a source of income to make it work, and often end up drowning in debt.Received early acceptance to the Royal Veterinary College in London, on a waitlist for the University College of Dublin, and waiting on an answer from the University of Bristol.I am a driven and motivated student who has worked in the veterinary industry of Ottawa, Canada's capital, throughout my undergraduate degree. I have seen the toll that COVID and the increase in demand for veterinary care has taken on both veterinary staff and pet owners. It is now that Canada needs more veterinarians, but change takes time. It is not new jobs veterinarians need, but more professionals. More graduates, and more students. It is on the schools and the government entities funding these schools to promote more positions to eager students who are willing to jump into this industry.
