(CV!), an initiative which engages more than 800 volunteers in over 18,000 hours of community work annually; CV! regularly achieves stakeholder satisfaction ratings in excess of 90% and was nominated as a finalist in the 2017 Volunteering Western Australia awards.• Project lead of The Big Idea at Curtin, a national inter-university social enterprise planning competition, in which 2 Curtin teams reached the finals in 2019; responsible for organising and delivering social entrepreneurship workshops and a pitch event in collaboration with academic and professional staff and industry experts.• Manage Curtin Extra, a framework which officially recognises students’ participation in over 65 approved extra-curricular activities; responsible for the effective delivery of the initiative across the university.• Contribute to planning, monitoring and acquitting internal budgets and external funding, including government grants and sponsorship from commercial entities.• Responsible for ensuring activities adhere to policies and legal requirements; invited to take up the role of a Working With Children Check Deputy Compliance Officer and collaborated with the Curtin Legal Team to develop stakeholder terms and conditions for CV!.• Write reports and communication material, deliver presentations and facilitate workshops; successfully submitted a paper for the 2017 STARS conference and presented to an audience of academic and professional staff from universities around Australia.

My responsibilities included assisting with strategic and operational planning, volunteer management, assisting with budgeting processes and pro-gram and project coordination.• Implemented the use of an online volunteer database, replacing the reliance on paper forms, thereby increasing efficiency of the sign-up process, accuracy of data collected and ease of record keeping.• Led the development of CV!’s strategic and operational plans in collaboration with Curtin’s Office of Strategy and Planning, resulting in clarity of areas vision and expected outcomes.• Collaborated with communication staff on improving the branding of Curtin Volunteers! including better aligning it with University marketing and communication requirements, creating new marketing material and developing tailored communication for various communication channels.• Developed and maintained excellent working relationships with diverse stakeholder groups including non-profit organisations and schools from metro, regional and remote communities in the establishment and delivery of volunteer initiatives.• Successfully organised volunteer activities throughout Western Australia for over 800 volunteers annually, developing health and safety plans, organising logistical requirements, providing guidance for volunteer leaders and setting up feedback mechanisms.• Recruited over 30 volunteer leaders bi-annually, developed training material, facilitated development workshops and supervised them in their roles.

Led the Employer Liaison Team, supervising one full-time staff member and several casual employees.• Demonstrated excellence in stakeholder liaison and engagement by playing a key role in securing a top three finish for the Curtin Careers Centre in the national Australian Association of Graduate Employers’ (AAGE) award for Best Careers Service for Employers in 2009 and 2010.• Represented the Careers Centre at local and interstate forums and conferences, participating in discussions and networking with industry and university representatives from around Australia to position Curtin University as a leading institute for higher education and to keep abreast with developments in the field of career services.• Managed two University-wide career fairs and in the process developed comprehensive risk management plans for both events. In excess of 2,000 students and 100 exhibitors attended both fairs in total.• Developed policies and guidelines pertaining to the use of the Centre’s online job portal and conducted in-house training on this topic.
