As a senior designer, I have had numerous ship-building roles within the Serco team. My colleagues and I have developed in-house conceptual designs, each having unique challenges, requirements and complexity. I have also worked extensively with various Canadian and International shipyards, converting our naval designs into manufacturing realities. I have learned that the shipbuilding industry is a global one, and yet, in so many ways, it is a small world, with many relationships forged from past projects resumed anew in collaborative efforts to create and build new designs.

I am a member of the Joint Support Ship (JSS) project team. The two Queenston-class Joint Support Ships (JSS) will replace the Royal Canadian Navy’s Auxiliary Oiler Replenishment vessels.
