A creator at heart, Marc's connection to creativity stems naturally from his family's long history in music and the arts. An accomplished drummer from an early age, Marc's dreams and passions converged at age 18 when he was hired by the iconic drummer Buddy Rich to be his personal assistant and protege. Marc sums up his year on the road traveling with Mr. Rich and his 16-piece big band as follows: "It was a year of endless discovery about creativity, people, cultures, and landscapes. I learned the power of love and the power of fear. It was a year of discovering myself, a journey that continues to excite me every day."The experience had a profound impact on shaping his perspectives and ambitions. Throughout his distinguished career, Marc has leveraged his creativity and business acumen to develop innovative and disruptive strategies from retail and hospitality to real estate and media. In 2001, Marc co-founded Streetsense, an internationally recognized strategy and design collective based in Bethesda, Maryland. As CEO, he guided the organization and grew it from a small company of 5 to a multi-faceted organization of over 280 people in multiple cities. In 2017, Marc sold his interest in the company to CBRE, a Fortune 500 company, at which time he exited the company to lead House Studios. Marc brings to House his deeply held belief in the power of unencumbered creativity and an unwavering commitment to driving global social change.
