Successfully delivered strategic plans to modernize and transform the Department with the development of the IM/IT Integrated Strategic Plan to advance document collaboration and sharing (SharePoint implementation), and electronic records management. Delivered Open Government Implementation Plan to enable open-by-default approach and transparency to Canadians, vision for Architectural Networks with integration to SSC end state data centre consolidation and GCSI, and Recordkeeping Directive Implementation Plan to advance departmental compliance with regulatory requirements. Responsible for planning, managing, implementation and reporting for all IM/IT business transformation projects (Email Transformation Initiative delivered in Fall 2015, Data Centre Consolidation, WiFi, GCDocs, SharePoint).

Project Director for $223.50M Food Safety Action Plan aimed at transforming the Canadian food safety system and improved risk management. Responsible for project oversight for the implementation of programming for the twelve areas of activities including importer licensing regulations to regulate the Non-Federally Registered Sector and the development of IM/IT Enabled Business Project for an importer licensing management system. Created an organizational structure for the FSAP Project Management Office (PMO) reflective of the horizontal and complex nature of the project. This structure served to align business and IM/IT, promoted a collaborative approach with stakeholders, and increased project management capability and capacity at CFIA.

Led the transformation of the IM/IT Project Management Office at FINTRAC. Responsible for creating and implementing a departmental project management framework to support the application of sound project management principles to the prioritization, planning, resourcing, implementation and closure of projects. Led organizational integration of project management, business analysis and portfolio management services into a single reporting structure. Formalized the role of the portfolio manager position to manage the client relationship and provide oversight for business portfolio activities and Information Management/Information Technology projects.

Played a leadership role in introducing project management best practices to increase the successful delivery of business and IT projects for Computer Sciences Canada customer. Elevated client satisfaction for "Project Management" to highest rating on account scorecard. Managed the delivery and implementation of business solutions, infrastructure projects, and business processes for the customer.

Managed the delivery of product enhancements, upgrades, service and product requests, system integrations for customer accounts (Lockheed Martin, ACS), and maintained client relationship. Successfully completed a conference room pilot demonstrating the capability of the Provance solution to manage IT Asset management for Canada Post Corporation.

Delivered Internet merchant application to create merchant accounts, automate accounts reconciliation, electronic funds transfers, reports, transaction processing and batching, and payouts.

Delivered e-CaRMS fee-for-service system that enabled students to apply for postgraduate medical training and allowed the program directors to evaluate and rank the applicants. Also, I delivered the CA Source recruitment portal for the Chartered Accountants of Ontario.

Delivered e-Commerce project that automated credit approval requests and significantly improved processing turnaround time to render decisions on-line for clients.

Responsible for the analysis, design, implementation, and support of the Business Number (BN) system. The BN program integrated four taxation programs into a single registration process and was implemented nationally in Tax Services Offices and Taxation Centres. Advanced joint federal and provincial initiative to deliver an integrated online common business registration system that shared client information and BN with provincial registries. Re-engineered document processing in the Taxation Centres, eliminating inventory workload and effectively streamlining operations.
