As an ag-entrepreneur, president and co-founder of Borealis Fresh Farms Inc., I have a passion in growing local produce and driven to bring to market local, clean, non-gmo, high nutrient dense food for our northern region in an ecological and sustainable way. Using leading edge technology and hydroponic farming methods, our team continuously works to reduce our region’s dependency on out-of-region producers for “fresh” and clean produce and support taking some control of our own food chain to increase our food security, eliminate food miles, and decrease our carbon footprint. I’m a firm believer in building sustainable employment through the agriculture ecosystem. I’m also an avid marathoner and driven to complete the Abbott World Marathon Majors.
