Representing real estate developers, managers, landlords and tenants in litigation and arbitration involving the ownership, development, management and operation of commercial and residential real estate in the greater New York City area.

Handled complex commercial litigation cases in state and federal courts relating to real estate, bankruptcy, partnerships, receiverships, and tort law, among others. Responsibilities included: drafting pleadings, motions and appellate briefs; courtroom advocacy; conducting and defending depositions; interviewing witnesses; developing litigation strategy; negotiating settlements; supervising junior associates and paralegals.

Practice encompassing complex commercial litigation with an emphasis on matters involving securities, mergers and acquisitions, fiduciary duty issues and real estate. Further experience representing clients in connection with investigations by the U.S. Department of Justice and Securities and Exchange Commission. Recently completed National Institute of Trial Advocacy’s Building Trial Skills program.
