As a Junior Varsity lacrosse coach, I am able to make an impact in the kids' lives as they learn the sport. The opportunity to share the love of the sport and teach students how to become better individuals all around is something I am very thankful to see. As a lacrosse coach, I lead the players in drills and game like scenarios so that they are better prepared for the school games we have.

In my quality assurance internship, I was able to learn the fundamental responsibilities of what sterilization engineers do and learned how I can contribute to their future projects.As a quality assurance intern, I was tasked with analyzing steam sterilization cycles in order to assist the sterilization engineer’s projects. I created dunnage units in order to provide the material for future sterilization cycles. Other tasks included inoculation of bio burden samples, submitting product requests for the sterilization engineers, and revision of documents of different work instructions and SOPs from MicroVention’s database.

Receiving the opportunity to work as a MicroVention intern was one of the greatest experiences I have had to develop my engineering skills.In my internship, I was exposed to updating and modifying fixture designs, carrying out tests to validate operator's equipment in the production line, entering data through excel, and carrying out other tasks that would arise in the internship. Without a doubt I was challenged with the problems that I faced, but with the help of my coworkers I was able to grow and become more developed as a team member. Working at MicroVention, I was able to be introduced to the engineering industry and witness what skills I can improve on to become a better engineer.

Army ROTC cadets are trained to understand and apply practical leadership skills in front of large groups of cadets so they can lead the other cadets in physical activities or teach the cadets other crucial military informationAt a young age, I have always gravitated towards the idea of being part of something bigger. I dreamed of being able to serve and be there for those who would need help. I loved the idea of being there for one another and rising above any obstacle with the help of a team. Besides having a strong grasp in military knowledge and what it means to be disciplined, I did have to stop because of a peanut allergy. I am hopeful for the future that I can receive the treatment needed to suppress my allergy so that one day I can still serve in the Army.

Spending my summer at State Compensation Insurance Fund helped me grow my skills in Microsoft Office, Excel, and communicating with other people so I can become more adept working in a team environment.Although it was an internship for the summer, I learned many applicable skills outside of the computer. Each day I would participate in meetings, communicate with other workers regarding projects, and I would present my own presentation pertaining to specific projects I worked on. At State Fund, I valued the times where I would learn other people's duties at the workplace and just enjoy learning the background of the other employees that worked in the building. Creating attainable goals throughout the week, and clearly communicating with other employees to truly understand them are some of the key ingredients I learned for a successful organization.

Being exposed to dishwashing as my first job, I learned every single person in a team has an important role no matter the title. Being a steward for the summer, I cleaned the restaurant by washing any cooking equipment, plates, utensils, and I would take the trash out every night.
