As the lead developer, is responsible for all aspects of the Meritian Pharmacy Solutions line of business. This area of business is focused on prescription, eligibility, claim and pharmacy processing. Primary responsibilities include weekly billing, enrollment and claim processing. Heavily involved in the back end SQL 2016 database development and optimization. The systems supported account for over 250000 transactions on a weekly basis. Involved in all aspects of this business line in terms of functional enhancements from inception to production rollout, as well as incident support. The role involves interactions with several third party vendors involved in the business.

As a lead developer, had a key role in the design, development and successful implementation of several custom solutions for multiple clients (RBS, Comcast, Microsoft, IBM, Lenovo, Wildblue, Tribune, Kraft). Primary responsibility was as the senior database architect, designing schemas, stored procedures, packages, triggers, transact*SQL, PL/SQL, and SQL jobs. Other roles included the following as part of the overall development life cycle:Design – engaged with business units to translate requirements in to specifications, creating documentation for the development groups. Development – as a project lead, worked with other developers to build proof of concept and prototypes, writing application and functional documentation, as well as test plans. Documentation – ensured delivery of documentation for all production applications and processes, for both end users and the service desk. Quality Assurance – worked with the Q&A department to develop feature and functionality test plans and audits, migrating applications across various environments. Production Deployment – responsible for submitting request for change documentation for the Change Advisory Board, as well as monitoring and failure documentation for the service desk. Service Desk – being available 24/7 to help resolve production issues
