I started here through an internship in the summer of 2012 and the company rehired me the next summer. I worked with their engineers in designing certain parts for their AFM Tools. I routinely turned hand drawings into functional 3D designs, as well as virtual stress-test models for failures and vibration modals. I also worked on production and shipping fixture plate design, fabrication, and, conceptual innovative design ideas. My biggest solo project with Multi-Probe was to design, build, test, and then deliver to the production team a robotic manufacturing tool to assemble AFM tips. The machine picked up a finger nail sized PCB with a 50 micron wide cantilever and automatically welded on a 25 micron diameter needle, with a 2 nano-meter wide tip. Then a 50 micron wide octagonal mirror was glued to it at a precise angle. The process was automated and an observer would verify success with various optical microscopes incorporated into the machine, before then being inspected by an electron microscope for FIB processing.

California First

This is my alumnus FIRST Robotics Competition team. I was apart of 973 all four years of high school. I helped with design of our robots, public relations, and strategic analysis at competitions. I worked with the team 6 days a week and tirelessly during the 3 to 4 day competitions. We won the 2011 World Championship held in Saint Louis, Missouri.
