L’unité « Pathologie et bien-être des ruminants », constituée de 18 personnes, fait partie du laboratoire Anses de Plouzané-Ploufragan-Niort. Elle assure des missions de référence, de recherche, de veille, d’épidémiologie et d’expertise scientifique et technique pour les filières caprines, ovines et bovines.Les activités de référence portent sur la Rhinotrachéite Infectieuse Bovine, la Diarrhée Virale Bovine, la Leucose Bovine Enzootique, l'Hypodermose et la Paratuberculose.Les recherches de l’unité sont centrées sur ces pathologies ainsi que sur la gestion du parasitisme et sur le bien-être des ruminants. Les travaux menés visent notamment :- à améliorer le diagnostic des infections et leur gestion au sein des élevages ou à l’échelle du territoire,- à lutter contre l’augmentation des résistances aux antiparasitaires,- à introduire de nouveaux outils pour mesurer et améliorer les conditions de vie des animaux en élevage,- à étudier les interactions entre pratiques d’élevage et la santé et le bien-être des animaux, d’une part, ou la santé des éleveurs, d’autre part.

Molecular assay for the detection of bacteria. - Diseases or micro-organisms : Toxoplasmosis, Lyme disease, Clostridium difficile, MRSA, Rubela, CMV, Dengue, Candidosis, Aspergillosis, Invasive Fungal Infections.
