I have worked in the public sector for almost 20 years. The interaction I have with individuals from contrasting backgrounds has enabled me to strengthen the skills important in business such as customer service, leadership, recruitment, finance, strategic planning, and communication. Twenty years again I found it difficult to communicate at a level needed to grow and develop advances in the both the public and private sector. Today, due to my regular interaction with various boards, committees, civic organizations, and the public I have been able to use these strengthened characteristics to further develop the organizations whom I serve.
