With over 18 years of experience in the financial industry, I am the Global Head of Equity Research at sbg securities, a division of Standard Bank Group. I lead a team of analysts and strategists who provide insights and recommendations on equity markets, sectors, and companies across Africa and beyond. I have a post graduate degree in digital and platform business from Emeritus, in collaboration with MIT Executive Education and Colombia Business School, which enables me to understand and evaluate the emerging trends and opportunities in the digital economy. I have also worked as the Co-Head of Equities at Credit Suisse Standard Securities and as a Director at JPMorgan Chase, where I gained valuable experience in capital markets, equities, and investment management. I have strong skills in financial analysis, valuation, forecasting, and communication, and I am fluent in English and Dutch, with a basic understanding of German.
