Smoke Canister System For Bo-105 Red Bull HelicopterCloudbase Engineering Llc Feb 2024 - PresentContracted to design a custom system to add an Airshow smoke system using smoke canisters. Pics below show the 3D printed test assembly and parts are currently being CNC machined. Each side of the helicopter will have 2ea of these assemblies for a total 4 smoke tubes per side and total of 8 Tubes per helicopter. I am outfitting two helicopters at the moment for the first test. If test goes well will outfit other Red Bull Helicopters as well as start a design for their Extra 300 fixed wing aerobatic airplane. CAD model and 3D printed test assembly shows an earlier design that was bolted together. Final design was modified for welded construction.

Modern Art Installation At Museum In IstanbulCloudbase Engineering Llc Jun 2024 - PresentContracted by a well known local Modern Artist to Design and Fabricate an Art Installation for an installation at a museum in Istanbul. Everything designed in Solidworks. Parts consist of 3 CNC machined 6061 Aluminum large ellipses (47" x 95" x 2' Thick) mounted at compound angles with #8 mirror finish Stainless Steel cladding. To cut weight internally epoxy bonded Aluminum honeycomb is used. All fasteners hidden with nearly imperceptible seams. Sculpture was assembled on site in a restricted stairwell.Sculpture is suspended from the ceiling and hidden behind a drop ceiling is an enormous gearbox with a VFD rotating the entire sculpture at 1RPM. Total weight not including the gearbox is roughly 1400lbs. Per the photos there is little to no perceptible distortion in the mirror finish and was a design criteria from the Artist. Start to finish on the project was roughly 3 months.

Use case is for volumetric filming or sporting events and Verizon’s main customer for this equipment is the NFL , US Tennis and FIFA.• 100% designed in Solidworks by myself. CNC machining contracted out with local and overseas vendors. 3D printing and laser cutting and etching done in house.• Assembly and training done in house.• Rigs used RED cameras and Zeiss lenses. (RED and Zeiss also partners on this project)
