I am an active venture and angel investor dedicated to helping entrepreneurs, executives, and other leaders to achieve their highest potential. I merge over a decade of starting, advising, and investing in startups with equal experience deeply integrating the science of yoga into my life.The last five years of my career have been focused on Web3. I started my career in Web3 as the first employee at Wave Financial. I was a Principal on their ventures team and led Wave's investments into projects like NEAR protocol and Skale Labs. After Wave, I spent one year as an angel investor and invested in Web3 startups like Prysm, Yield Guild Games, Ceramic, Swan, and Aglet. I also advised companies like Steward and Structure. In 2020, I co-launched Mechanism Capital where I built our portfolio development platform. As platform lead, I help our founders with the 3 Rs: Revenue, Recruiting, and Raising. I help them generate revenue through customer development & partnerships with other protocols, enterprises, and applications. I help them recruit through my personal network of hundreds of Web3 builders that I've developed over the years. I help them raise capital from other VCs, protocols, and exchanges. I also advise on token launch structure/venue, yield farming, and token bootstrapping strategies. Finally, I help founders navigate other key relationships with smart contract auditors, market makers, and exchanges. At Mechanism, I have overseen the growth in our portfolio from one to over eighty companies.I also lead investments into the application layer of Web3 like NFTs (Upshot, Tessera, Sound), guilds (YGG, Snack Club), gaming (Star Atlas, Branch.GG), & social (T2, Roll).
