Shareholder in the Executive Compensation and Employee Benefits Group. My practice is principally focused in the area of employee benefits and executive compensation with a strong emphasis on health and welfare benefit plan matters.I have extensive experience in the design, financing, implementation, and correction ofpension and welfare benefit plans for large, multi-state employers as well as smaller localemployers. I represent clients before the Internal Revenue Service, the U.S. Department of Labor,and the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation.As to health care plans, I counsel clients in the review, redesign and documentation of insured and self-insured programs to comply with the many changes caused by the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. As part of my health and welfare plan practice, I regularly represent clients undergoing investigations by the U.S. Department of Labor.
