This was a broad role that included management of a team, training of staff, analysis and reporting of key data, tracking, reporting and developing responses to regulatory changes and leadership of WHS across the business.This position required me to monitor for regulatory updates related to government energy saving programs and WHS/OHS. Once identified I was responsible to ensure that these changes were communicated to all employees and contractors, relevant policies and procedures were updated and deliver training to support required changes in practices. I managed a team responsible for gathering required evidence from installations, validating that these met regulatory requirements and submitting required documentation to claim energy saving certificates (VEECs/ESCs). Forecasting and reporting of the creation rate of these certificates was another key part of this role.Another key element of the role was representing the business in and leading responses to the auditing programs run by regulators and ISO auditors.
