Appointed Head of Care for Ochil Tower School in April 2023. Excited to be working alongside Alyson, Alastair and the wider SMT. Interim positon as Registered Manager for Greenleaf House, taking on this role to increase my footprint and networking across the residential sector in Scotland. In my previous role with Aspris Children's Services (Priory) leading teams, developing and expanding the services in line with their growth plan, which includes multi-site management, reflecting on the experiences of AWW and GCC to build and lead.Previous experiences include working with AWW as a multi-site Registered Service Manager for 2 and half years within the private sector, 7 years as Unit Manager with Glasgow City Council (GCC) managing 5 to 8 bedded units within communities, 5 years as a Senior Residential Practitioner (GCC) with a steep learning curve including safeguarding children, families, workers and local communities, working under a truly inspirational manager.Consolidated SW qualification with a short period as a qualified Social Worker within the children and families team at Newlands. Early career opportunities and experiences included Hillhead House (16+), Seafield Residential School (11-16) and Nerston Residential School. (Primary age children) Truly passionate about Residential Child Care and trying to make a difference. Looking to expand my wider operational knowledge and experiences preparing for the next step in my career.
