Le travail de recherche que j’ai effectué, dans le cadre de mon mémoire de maitrîse portant sur l’analyse de performance et des sillages d’un modèle d’éolienne de type Darrieus installer sur un toît, m’a permis d’améliorer mes compétences dans l’utilisation du logiciel de mécanique des fluides numériques Star CCM+. De plus, j’ai aussi eu la chance d’en apprendre d’avantage sur les plus récents développements technologiques dans le domaine des éoliennes. Je suis très fier d’avoir pu apporter une contribution importante à la recherche de mon superviseur, le Dr. Marius Paraschivoiu. J’ai un grand intérêt pour les domaines de l’énergie et de l’aérospatial et j’ai très hâte de commencer ma carrière professionnelle.During the course of my MASc. in mechanical engineering, I was able to further increase my knowledge and interest in the fields of energy and aerospace. The research work I conducted, as part of my thesis on the performance and wake analysis of a Darrieus roof-mounted wind turbine model, allowed me to improve my skills with the Star CCM+ CFD software and learn about the most recent technological developments in the field of wind turbines. Through this work, I was also able to make a notable contribution to the research of my supervisor, Dr. Marius Paraschivoiu. I have a great interest in the fields of energy and aerospace and I am really looking forward to the beginning of my professional career.
