About Michael Marcantonio

I am a recent a graduate student of Fordham University, graduating with a Masters in Childhood Education in May 2023, and currently hold a NYS Initial Teaching Elementary 1-6 Certificate. In addition to my MS Childhood Education degree, I hold Master of Business Administration Degree (Pace), as well as an BA in Finance (Villanova). Prior to switching careers, I worked for multiple Fortune 500 companies in both managerial and individual roles. The role of and elementary teacher is multi-faceted. However, both my past non-educational experiences as well as the classroom training, I have received through the Fordham program has well equipped me to take on this challenge. Although still a new teacher, I have experience in classroom management, lesson creation, whole class, small group and one-on-one student support. Also, as a father of two I also bring my years of parental experiences into the classroom.
