These projects englobe Linux kernel and bootloader programming, custom Linux distribution design and maintenance; cyber-physical systems design, highly-reliable embedded control software, and ground segment cloud solutions.• Led the development of flight control software written in modern C for the satellite camera payload, ensuring maximum operational reliability.• Designed a high-speed camera acquisition and storage embedded software for a Xilinx MPSoC, capable of storing images to disk at a maximum speed of 900MiB/s.• Designed a custom Linux distribution and in-flight satellite update system, allowing sending partial system updates and reducing uplink transfer size to a minimum of 5KiB.• Led the development of the embedded Linux kernel and bootloader for the current payload electronics, which reached a stability stage in about one year.• Designed the ground segment cloud architecture with an AWS solutions architect to allow controlling different satellites from a web-based single-page application.• Mentored and supervised four junior developers’ C/C++ and Python code deliverables, allowing them to develop software solutions of better quality and reliability.
