In August 1999 I was honored to be made a partner with Investment Equities Associates group. The recognition of my contributions was warmly felt as we moved into the next phase of the company's future. This next phase was unfortunately short lived as the company was shut down due to partnership related issues. The experience gained guided the next phase of my personal and business career.

Summary: With increasingly critical information at the hands of management, our growth as a company began to accelerate. Our next steps were to harness this growth for value creation. Problem: Additional projects were stretching our operational capabilities as well as creating a demand for increasingly sophisticated financial valuations of our properties. Solution: I received a lateral promotion to increase my training across skill sets for the company. My time was spent 40% on operational oversight of the company's real estate property management practice, 40% on oversight of construction projects and 20% on building financial models for the properties on both acquisition and disposition. Result: For the company our growth continued, scaling from multifamily into hospitality and commercial projects with increasingly larger deal sizes. Personal skills expanded to include due diligence, construction management, property management and commercial appraisals. Toolset used included Argus financial modeling software and Yardi property management.

Hired out of college to work at PwC as staff auditor. Placed on top audit team responsible for PECO energy account. Limited time invested in position based on relocation to South Florida.
