In the summer of 2017, Mr. Brody became the 1st US employee of SBTech and directed all of the company's US operations and the hiring of the US Executive Team while helping to secure SBTech's first B2B clients in the US. Prior to DraftKings' acquisition of SBTech in a $3B SPAC transaction Marc exited the company and teamed up with former colleague David Wang to help start Bet.Works in January 2019. In November 2020 Bet.Works entered into an agreement to be acquired by Bally's Corporation (NYSE: BALY) for $125,000,000.
