I co-founded this Branding and Design Agency that creates compelling narratives for compelling brands through brand identity, packaging, retail, environment and digital. Our rebrand of Sartori Cheese tripled sales and distribution nationwide in the first six months. It’s distinctive packaging led the way. We elevated Ann Sacks Tile’s luxe message with our high-end email marketing, premium catalogs and collateral. We found the essence of Umpqua Investments and positioned them for success in the competitive financial category. Clients also include: Boyd’s Coffee, xBox, Brooks Running, Grand Central Bakery, Asurion, Portland YouthBuilders.

I creative directed global marketing campaigns for Coca-Cola Light and Coke Lime that drove the design, photography and media for the European and South American markets. I won design awards for redesigning Cranium’s flagship game WOW, a raucous and fun homage to their original game, complete with Gary Baseman collectible movers. I drove design and brand creation with Masterfoods for their Seeds of Change and Seven Paths brands.

As Art Director for Nike Apparel, I formed alliances with footwear and equipment designers and utilized their imaginative design sketches for an exciting line of apparel products called ProtoMax. I streamlined Nike’s graphic image in apparel and created a branding strategy that reintroduced Nike’s heritage marks as a foundation to build on. I directed teams of designers to create seasonal lines of apparel graphics, ID systems and visual briefs. I worked closely with marketing and design to drive innovation and retail success.

I created the groundbreaking branding, collateral and naming for Levi’s Exposure, the pop-up performance and art space in lower Manhattan that combined innovative apparel design with street culture. I created the prototype store graphics and identity for GNC LiveWell, a concept that launched the supplement retailer into the lifestyle category. I took the legendary catalog retailer J. Peterman into a rich retail environment with elaborate packaging and environmental graphics.

I created award-winning book jacket designs for: Jonathan Lethem (Fortress of Solitude, Men and Cartoons, The Disappointment Artist), Matthew Klam (Sam the Cat), Haven Kimmel (The Solace of Leaving Early), Bill Bryson (The Life and Times of the Thunderbolt Kid), Kevin Canty (Winslow in Love) and more.

As an Art Director in the entertainment industry, I created award-winning music packaging for the Sony Rhythm & Soul Series and Columbia’s Sinatra Sings CD Boxed set.

As Art Director for artist imaging, I set the direction for packaging, music videos and advertising. I created iconic work for the Red Hot Chili Peppers, D’Angelo, GangStarr, Sinead O’Connor, Henry Rollins and more.
