Selected achievements include:- Conducting a situation analysis and writing a "traveler alert" for "Lonely Planet Guides" regarding the 2016 security situation impacting foreign nationals traveling to the Republic of Mali in West Africa.- Designing & leading strategic planning processes for an international, senior leadership team at Chevron Oil charged with analyzing options regarding a proposed merger with Texaco. Following the merger, worked to integrate & transform business units so they performed maximally in support of new business realities.- Conducting analyses of international competition for the Singer Sewing Machine Company in response to significant market share erosion. Reformulated Singer's marketing, sales, and distribution strategies to restore industry leadership. - Conducting conflict assessments and creating conflict management processes for major international corporations including Exxon-Mobil and Chase Bank. Interfaced with law enforcement entities in circumstances where industrial sabotage was considered a possibility. During downsizings, served as onsite consultant, often operating in highly-charged environments.- Responding to issues presented by the merger of the Chase and Chemical Banks, worked with international leadership groups to develop goals & integrate functions. - Co-facilitating a large-scale (3,000+ participants), collaborative process entitled "Listening to the City," designed to elicit ideas on how to most effectively re-build Lower Manhattan post-09/11/01. Participants, representing a wide range of stakeholders, generated & prioritized significant data to inform political decision making.
