Focused on, but not limited to mobility, I was responsible for overseeing solution design and execution of game-changing technology initiatives across the enterprise and Publicis Groupe family of brands.Publicis Groupe is the 3rd largest communications company in the world. Full lifecycle responsibility for all aspects of the firm’s proprietary online trading platform, focused on, but not limited to backend servers and middleware.* Designed and successfully implemented a new distributed price server model. The system provides a seamless and scalable means of delivering commodity pricing. It features built-in load balancing and provides multi-protocol pricing to our client application and APIs.* Co-designed and developed a companywide component library. * Initiated and implemented the firm’s “Gatekeeper” system. Gatekeeper is a two-step authentication and routing system for our retail trading application and third-party APIs. * Designed and built the company’s first online account application and approval system.* Contributed to the design and implementation of features to our retail trading application.

Designed and managed development of a new trading platform for retail clients for integration in the firm’s overall trading environment.* Worked closely with stakeholders and project managers to define and document system requirements.* Provided both a functional and detailed design specification for the new system.* Oversaw initial development effort working with developers, project managers, and business to ensure conformity to the projects goals.* Coordinated integration efforts with third-party vendors and in-house developers for both pricing and order routing.* Had full ownership responsibility for the legacy trading application during development.* Assisted project managers with resource management.

Operational responsibility for custom development firm specializing in integration.* Translation of client’s business requirements into working, manageable, and creative automated systems.* Designed and created integrated software solutions from conception to delivery, utilizing a broad range of technical and management skills.* Fully responsible for management of programming resources as well as all project staffing.* Designed and authored a custom integration component distributed by On Center Software, a leading software vendor in the construction space.* Designed and lead the development of a large, nationally deployed data acquisition and reporting system.

Full management responsibility for the development and maintenance of multiple in-house Web and desktop applications for a leading international commodities trading firm.* Spearheaded integration of online trading applications from multiple divisions into a single cohesive design, eliminating the duplication of both processes and data.* Managed the daily activities of both in-house and consulting resources across several projects.* Personally developed COM components allowing several applications to access shared information through a common gateway regardless of application purpose, platform, or development language.

Managed and conducted multiple application development projects for major corporate clients. This involved full responsibility for the client engagement including, cost estimation, proposal generation and presentation, project planning and implementation, system architecture and design.* Played a key role in the creation and growth of a consultant task force specializing in application migration for fortune 500 companies.* Lead several successful development engagements with large corporate clients including, Sears, Kemper Insurance, GATX, and Quill.* Hands on development using Microsoft technologies including, but not limited to: COM, VB, SQL Server, IIS, MTS, ASP, and Exchange.* Built a set of proprietary conversion tools for use by our consultants and client personnel.* Taught various Microsoft courses in VB, Office Application Development, and COM.• Authored various technical document including Business Function Designs, Analysis Documents, and User Guides.
