As a young girl, Marcee’s report cards were filled with A’s but there was always one caveat. She wouldn’t stop talking. Imagine, if you will, a defeated teacher’s sigh. Marcee wouldn’t shut up; she had ideas that warranted sharing and though she was only 8-years-old, she was already omniscient. Somehow, through unparalleled perseverance, her teachers succeeded in teaching her. She took her A’s through middle school, the International Baccalaureate program at Boyd Anderson High School (where her loudness endeared her to her cheerleading coach and no one else) and finally to the University of Miami. Thankfully, her self-diagnosed attention deficit disorder was relieved by a double major in Advertising and Graphic Design. At UM, she joined a sorority, ate lots of pasta, beat the football players at Spades and eventually graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Communication.Marcee is the only child of two hard-working parents who, while spoiling her rotten, embedded a strict work ethic and minor gambling addiction deep into her psyche. She worked throughout college and landed her first “real job” at an advertising agency even before graduation. From the art department to copywriting, to logos and branding, then idea generation and campaign planning - eventually Marcee’s ideas would be seen and heard by the masses…and everything was as it should be.For nearly 20 years, Marcee has been in the advertising and marketing game. She brags about her lightning-fast turnaround, perfect grammar and superhuman index of 80’s movies quotes. Marcee is the go-to gal for instantaneous anti-generic ads and ideas. She enjoys designing silly t-shirts and is always granting favors to friends who need invitations created or logos generated. She's married to a very quiet, very patient man and is constantly correcting the grammar of her two adorable children. She speaks fluent Sarcasm, can braid hair like pro and, as a bonus, she really does know everything.
