Rescued a 40-million-dollar project on the verge of collapsing during Covid. Led a 50+ multi-discipline (mechanical, electrical, software, application, ink) engineering team to revitalize R&D effort on world’s fastest shuttle UV printer (1.5 million USD list price). Successfully deployed product to Tier 1 customer in early adaptation, resulted in additional multi-unit orders from customer. Worked closely with the Product Management Team to define and refine product requirements, as well as building the business case for the product. Responsible for enforcing NPD (Phase-Gate) process integrity, while balancing the need for flexibility in program management. Managed all levels of project communication, including internal senior executive team, cross-functional stakeholders; as well as external communication with customers, which resulted in 3 written commitments from early launch customers. Worked with resource holders from various departments to negotiate and obtain resources needed for the project. Responsible for engineering release, supply chain preparation, production release, and field service training of new products.

Identified off-the-shelf parts based on life expectancy, tolerance, and motion profile. These designs are part of 4 commercially successful industrial printer platforms, the most recent being a multi-axis motion product that sold 300 units in 4 years at 400k USD ASP. Responsible for creating focused test plans, which were crucial to ensure system performance. Trained and developed engineering technicians in engineering testing and data analysis during this process.
