• Supporting the establishment and set of up a new customer base in Southern Africa through Sales and marketing of WIOCC in the region.• Assisting with the set-up of the WIOCC business in South Africa.• Financial and operational oversight of various joint ventures and interests held by Equivest in Africa.• Financial analysis and analytical review of investment opportunities for Equivest.• Implementing cost control exercises, through variance analysis and corrective procedures including effective cashflow management.

• Responsible for accounting departments of company bureaus in Kenya and Nigeria including streamlining of accounting reporting requirements with Head Office and treasury management of bureaus.• Development and implementation of turnaround strategy for the finance department. This included the implementation of a new accounting system and streamlining of the existing reporting process.• Consultative support to executive managers for planning initiatives in the form of financial and management information analyses, reports and recommendations and budgets preparation. • Reviewed and formulated accounting and financial procedures, policies and practices in accordance with IFRS.
