• Understanding and documenting the current business processes, with a view to making recommendations on improvements.

• Planning, development and Implementation of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plan.

• Supporting the establishment and set of up a new customer base in Southern Africa through Sales and marketing of WIOCC in the region.
• Assisting with the set-up of the WIOCC business in South Africa.
• Financial and operational oversight of various joint ventures and interests held by Equivest in Africa.
• Financial analysis and analytical review of investment opportunities for Equivest.
• Implementing cost control exercises, through variance analysis and corrective procedures including effective cashflow management.

• Responsible for accounting departments of company bureaus in Kenya and Nigeria including streamlining of accounting reporting requirements with Head Office and treasury management of bureaus.
• Development and implementation of turnaround strategy for the finance department. This included the implementation of a new accounting system and streamlining of the existing reporting process.
• Consultative support to executive managers for planning initiatives in the form of financial and management information analyses, reports and recommendations and budgets preparation.
• Reviewed and formulated accounting and financial procedures, policies and practices in accordance with IFRS.
