I am a Chief Engineer for Airborne Systems , specializing in managing, leading and motivating multi-disciplinary engineering teams to develop products that are mainly designed for the Aerospace industry. I manage the complete product development life cycle comprising of requirement analysis, concept definition, engineering development, testing, industrialization and commissioning of complex products. I am passionate about team dynamics and have more than 10 years experience in managing medium to large sized engineering teams. I manage to meet development deadlines for short and long term project by effectively tailoring the engineering life cycle process. I strive to interface with all stakeholders through open and honest communication, keeping in mind the main goal of exceeding the end users' expectations. I initially started my career as an embedded Software Engineer, developing software for military and para-military airborne products. I have knowledge of SDLC (Waterfall, V-Shape and Agile) as well as the process of Software and Firmware Certification (RTCA/DO-178B and DO-254).I have a passion for engineering and people, built on good teamwork and communication. I believe each engineering project is unique, requiring custom tailoring of processes and accurate resource allocation. As Chief Engineer, my primary objective is to provide a technical interface between the team and the end user. I pride myself on being part of the team, but also the "Work Activator", ensuring each engineering discipline has all the requirements to conclude the development through the full development life cycle.
