Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of all facilities: gas treating , dehydration, fuel supply,propane compressor,turboexpander,acid gas compressor,refrigeration, liquid recovery, instruments and utility air system, storage facilities,acid gas recovery,water treatment,steam turbines,steam boilers, etc. Keeping in close communication with other plants areas on problems affecting overall plant operations. Maintaining two-way communications with the DCS operators and maintenance at all times during the shift. Following up the good functioning of the plant.Asab 2 is capable to treat 790 MMSCFD of gas in two trains and recover 6200 tpd of NGL. Main equipements in the plant are turbine compressors, turboexpanders,turbine generators,molecular sieve,chillers,NGL stripper,demethanisers,propane compressors.

Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of all facilities within the Attahaddy Gas Plant including but not limited to gas treating , dehydration, fuel supply, refrigeration, liquid recovery, instruments and utility air system, N2 generation, water treatment and storage facilities, DCS system (ABB Freelance 2000) , testing once by month each well production and quality/24 hours ,calculation and report of Total Gas Plant Production/24 hours. Keeping in close communication with other plants areas on problems affecting overall plant operations. Maintaining two-way communications with the operators at all times during the shift. Following up the good functioning of the plant and keeping the conection with Maintenance Group. Actively involved in commissioning operation after revisions and overhauling activities such as water flushing, air&nitrogen blowing, chemical cleaning, chemical loading, oil flushing, motor run in, pumps run in, blowers run in, air coolers run in, compressors run in, tightness test, leak test, service test, water run, systems inertization with nitrogen. Involved in DCS training for 3 libyans DCS operators and I coordinate 3 field operators.This plant is capable to treate 350 mmscfd of sour row high pressure gas with 2 trains, sales gas app. 270 mmscfd with low CO2 content ( < 2 mol % ) and water content (4lbs/ mmscf) and export condensate app. 31000 bpd with low water content ( < 0.02 vol%) including 10 primary units along with utilities ( inlet manifold & test separator, production separator, acid gas removal, MEG regenerator, dehydration, C3 compressor, mercury removal, heating medium/amine, instrument/plant air system, fuel gas system/flare system)

Monitoring and adjusting plant parameters within prescribed limits using DCS DELTA V manufactured by EMERSON. Involved in start-up and shut-down activities in normal and emergency cases , revisions and overhauling activities.Main equipments in the plant:2 high pressure catalytic reactors(both in work); two columns,one for strip and the other for split ,both provided with valve trays( the first has 20 trays& the second has 33 trays); production separator vessels(one for high pressure-40 barg,one for 15 barg),2 top reflux drum (one 9 barg and one for 2 barg); 5 shell and tube heat-exchangers train(usual temperatures in range of 1000 to 2240 C ,one of this is a splitter reboiler), 2 air cooler with 6 fans, 12 electrical driven pumps(6 in stand by),2 rich gas(hydrogene)20 000 Nm3 compressors(1 in stand by), 2 production furnaces (one with pumps capacity 140 m3, heat the reactors feedstock and the other is a stripping reboiler provided with 2 centrifugal exhausters - one in stand by). Performing tightness test for technological system and utilities (water, steam, air, nitrogen). Verifying raw materials and finished products stocks. Following up the good functioning of the plants. Reporting and correcting abnormal startup and operating conditions to prevent damage to equipment and catalyst.
